20 Weeks

•How far along are you? 20 Weeks - I'm feeling huge already!!

•How big is baby?: Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.

•Maternity clothes: Just a few maternity shirts and maternity jeans on the weekends, but still all my regular work pants (with lots of help from rubberbands and belly bands).

•Gender: Only 4 more days until we find out!!  I can't wait!!!  And I wasn't even able to make a guess after my sono. I didn't see anything.  :(

•Sleep?: I'm back to not sleeping well.  I just can't get comfortable and end up tossing and turning all night.

•Best moment this week?:  Having the 20 week sono yesterday and finding out everything looks healthy!

•Movement?: Still not consistent movement, but the kicks are definitely getting harder!  And I can definitely feel when the baby turns.  It seems that most of the time the baby stays head up because I usually feel the kicks down low.  The baby was head up during my ultrasound too.  He/She is a stubborn one.  Anytime the baby starts kicking and Shawn puts his hand on my stomach, the baby stops.  Hopefully he'll get to feel soon though.

•Food cravings?: Bananas or anything with bananas

•Food aversions?: Nothing really.

•What I miss: Sleeping on my back.  And I did miss having a glass of wine when we were out on our date night.

•Symptoms: Still the bad allergies.  Also, it's definitely getting harder to get up off the floor after playing with Em.

•Milestone: Officially half way through!!

Just a few things I want to remember about my sono today.  The baby had the hiccups, but other than that wasn't moving much.  He/She must have been sleeping.  The baby had their hands up next to their face and wouldn't move them.  The sono tech did lots of pushing on my tummy to get the baby to move so she could see everything she needed to see.  The heartrate was 139.  Also, the baby was measuring 3 days early and around 13 oz.  They said this is completely normal.  They aren't changing my due date though.

Last weekend while the baby was kicking I called Em over to feel, but of course as soon as she put her hand on my tummy the baby stopped.  I'm hoping she can feel it soon too.
