Flashback Friday. . .Our Bachelor/ Bachelorette Parties

Shawn and I had thrown the idea around about going to Vegas for our bachelor/bachelorette parties for a little while and when some of our friends said they would go, we decided that's what we would do.  In the end, we decided to all go the same weekend.  We all hung out together one night, but on the second night we split up and that was our designated "bachelor/bachelorette" parties.  I had 3 friends come to Vegas and Shawn had 5 friends go.  We had such a great time.  Even though we didn't have all our friends there, I thought it was perfect.  Our first night we ate in Ceasar's Palace and then went to downtown Vegas.  I had never been before.  It was neat, but I think I liked hanging out on the strip a little better. 

On our second day, we split up around lunchtime. Us girls went to Margaritaville for lunch. When we got back to the hotel, I had quite the surprise waiting for me. While we were at lunch, Luke had decorated my hotel room all up and each of my friends had brought gifts for me to open. They really made it special. After our pre-party, we went to Tao for dinner and then headed to a show (Thunder from Down Under). I have to admit, the show made me laugh more than anything. :) After the show, we all played craps and I think all of us girls walked away with around $200 each. It was a good night! I can't comment too much on what the boys did that night since I wasn't with them. I just know they went to a show too and I'm pretty sure Shawn fell asleep. It was a fun weekend that I'll never forget!
