Snow, Snow, Go Away!!

The news was predicting we would get a half an inch of snow overnight.  We woke up this morning to 6 inches of snow on the ground.  I'd say they were a bit off.  I just can't get over this crazy weather! First we get ice, then snow on top.  Really?  You all know this only happened because Dallas is hosting the Super Bowl this weekend.  Let's just say,  I've never been so ready for Spring! 

We're now going on day 4 of being stuck inside due to the weather (well, day 4 for Emily . . .3 for me).  Let's just hope we can get out tomorrow.   We've got cabin fever. . .BAD!!

I tried to use all of my creative skills today to come up with something fun we could do inside.  Well, there's a reason I'm an accountant, I'm pretty much lacking on the creative skills.  I did come up with yogurt finger painting though.  That sounds like fun, right?  Emily was interested for about 5 min.  Pretty much, big fail.  So we spent the rest of the day moving from room to room playing with toys.

On the upside, Emily did take 2 naps today.  I think she was so bored, she realized she might as well sleep to help pass the time.

And good news, Shawn is still scheduled to fly home tonight. . .he may not land until really late, but he'll still be home.
