2023 has come to an end. Let's look back at all the fun things we did over the last year!
January: We kicked off the new year with a trip to the Florida Keys.
Evan and Shawn watched the Stars play hockey.
Shawn and Em went to College Station for a soccer tourney.
February: We watched Evan play hockey.
Evan was the first one to swim in our new pool.
March: Emily started track.
Both kids started enjoying the pool.
Shawn went to New Orleans for work.
Em and I went to the Taylor Swift concert.
April: School soccer started.
We celebrated Easter.
Shawn started a new job and went to NYC for work.
Spring hockey started.
May: Emily got to play with the 8th grade soccer team in the district tournament and they took home 2nd place.
Shawn was traveling yet again. This time to FL.
Em's soccer team wrapped up league play.
Evan graduated from 5th grade.
The kids finished up the school year and said goodbye to 5th and 7th grade.
Emily's soccer team won the Shawnee Trail tourney.
June: We spent 10 amazing days in Hawaii.
Evan turned 11.
Shawn went to Jackson Hole, WY for work.
Emily went to Pine Cove for a week.
Shawn and I went to a Pat Green concert with friends.
July: We celebrated the 4th of July with friends at our house.
Emily's soccer team had their soccer signing party.
August: The kids started back at school. 8th grade and 6th grade.
Emily had back to back weekend soccer tournaments.
School volleyball season started.
September: Shawn and Evan went hunting over Labor Day weekend. They made a day trip to Lubbock too.
Emily kicked off their FDL league season.
Evan started playing the violin at school.
October: Shawn and the kids went to Octoberfest.
Fall hockey started.
Emily turned 14.
The kids went trick or treating.
November: We went to Arizona for a soccer tournament.
Shawn went to CA for work.
Shawn and Evan went to a Stars game.
We celebrated Thanksgiving.
December: We went to Snowday with friends.
We went on a trolley to see Christmas lights.
We celebrated Christmas with KK.
Santa came.
Whew, that was a very busy year!!! Can't wait to see what 2024 brings.
