Evan Turns 6

Evan turned 6 on Tuesday.  Shawn and I both took off and told him we could do something fun for the day.  We gave him a ton of options, but in the end he chose to do the same thing we did for his 5th birthday.  . go to Hawaiian Falls and have lunch at Chips.

We started off the day with donuts and he opened up his birthday presents from us.  I've been absolutely terrible about taking pictures lately, so I didn't get any from the morning. :(

We headed over to Hawaiian Falls around 10:30 and stayed over 3 hours.  Unfortunately, Evan could still only ride the same slides as last year.  He needs to grow about 2 more inches to be able to ride some of the bigger slides.  The wave pool was his absolute favorite this year.  He spent a ton of time in there.

I took a picture in this exact same spot on his birthday last year.  They definitely look older to me.

After changing at home we headed out for a late lunch.  I tried to recreate the same picture there as last year as well, but Evan definitely wasn't feeling the picture.

Evan was worn out after all the fun we had at the waterpark.  In fact, we were all pretty worn out.  This picture sums it all up!  It's rough turning 6.  :)
