This fall we signed Em up for her first season of soccer. She's in the under 4 girls league through our city. To be honest, I really have no expectations for her this season. She has taken a soccer class at school for the last year and a half and she has given us mixed reviews on how she likes it. In fact, there were several times that she told us she asked to just sit on the side and watch because she wasn't interested, however, recently she seemed to be enjoying it more. In fact, she would get super excited when she told us she scored a goal during class. So really our plan for the season is to just try it out and see how she likes it. Although I keep telling myself, we have yet to find an activity that Em doesn't love (hence why she is in so many. . haha!). This girl thrives on keeping busy!
Today was Em's first soccer practice with her team, the Cowgirls. I think there are 7 or 8 little girls on her team, including her bff, Aubrey. Parent participation is required during practices at her age, so Em had a blast with her Daddy. Evan enjoyed running around playing as I tried to wrangle him. I was able to watch a little bit of practice though and Em really seemed to be enjoying it. So we'll see what this season brings. Her first game is in just a couple weeks.
I wasn't able to take any pics during practice since I was too busy chasing Evan, but I did get a few beforehand and during water breaks.
