Snow Day

It's only a week into 2011 and we already got our first snowfall of the year.  We got quite a bit!  I'd say it was several inches.  Emily was so excited to see the snow (as was I)!  After her nap, Shawn headed out to build a snowman and Emily and I went out for just a few minutes before deciding it was just too cold for us to be out there.

Daddy did such a good job building his very first snowman, but unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it too long.  Emily has been sick with a fever the last 2 days and while Shawn was outside, I noticed some fluid coming out of one of her ears.  So I decided it was probably a good idea to take her to an after hours Pediatric place and get her checked out.  Sure enough, she has another ear infection.  :(
