Home Alone

This week me and Emily are home alone.  Shawn left for New Orleans Sunday night for work and won't be back until Friday night.  Being home alone with Emily makes me appreciate all the little things Shawn does to help out.  It's hard to find time just to wash bottles and do laundry while he's gone.  Luckily, he made some meals for me before he left so I'm good in the food department.  I think he was afraid I would starve while he was gone. . . or just eat cereal every night. :) 

Today was mine and Emily's last full day together before she heads off to daycare tomorrow.   We decided to start her a few days before I go back to work so both her and I could ease ourselves into it.  I'm anxious to see how her first day goes.  I can't believe how fast the last 11 weeks have gone and that it's almost time to go back to work!  I'm sad that our time together during the day is over.  Even though some days were definitely tough, I wouldn't have traded the last 11 weeks for anything.
