First Day of Daycare

Today was Emily's first day at Primrose Daycare.  I dropped her off around 9:00 this morning.  We were greeted at the door by the assistant director which made me feel very welcomed.  They even had a sign on the infant room welcoming baby Emily.  The teachers in the infant room were so excited to have a little girl starting because Emily is in a room full of baby boys.  She'll definitely have her pick of boys!  It was tough dropping her off, but seeing how excited they all were to have her and how welcoming they were, I know I have nothing to worry about.  I know this will make it so much easier for when I go back to work.

It was weird to not have her around during the day, but it was nice to be able to run some errands on my own.  Around 3 though, I was itching to go pick her up.  The teachers all said that she had such a great first day.  She seemed a little tired when I brought her home, but other than that she didn't seem to be phased.  I'm glad we both were able to make it through her first day.  I'm sure it will just get easier from here.
