March Little Things

Here are all the little things we were up to in March:

Track season started at school for Em.  The first 3 track meets she ran only the relays (4x100, 4x200, 4x400), but for the last 2 meets she asked for an individual event.  Those meets she ran the 100M, 4x100 and 4x400.  She did great.  The 2nd to last meet she got 1st place overall for the 100M and at the district meet, her 4x400 relay group came in second.  

We had a sunny day and we heated the pool.  The kids jumped in before it had gotten very warm.

We went to KK's for dinner to celebrate Shawn's birthday.

Shawn went to New Orleans for work.

Emily went to a friend's 13th birthday party at XOXO in Dallas.

Evan went to the symphony for a 5th grade field trip.  They had to dress nice.

Shawn and Evan went took the kayak out on the nearby lake.

Emily and I went to the Taylor Swift concert with friends.  It was Em's very first concert and it was amazing!  She sang 44 songs for over 3 hours!

Evan had lost a tooth, but the tooth fairy forgot to take it with her when she left money.  He wrote a note asking the tooth fairy for more money since she left the tooth.  His persistence paid off.  After a couple weeks, the tooth fairy did indeed return and leave another $5.
