Emily's birthday fell on a Wednesday this year, which is her busiest day. Not only does she have school, but she also has soccer practice and math tutoring. Even will all of that (and covid), we tried our best to make it special for her and let her know just how much she means to us.
We surprised her with bday yard signs. Thankfully, the rain stopped in the afternoon so she could go out and see it.
Emily requested to make her own bday cake this year, so that's just what happened. She made it the night before, so it was all ready to be eaten on her bday. It was quite good.
We were planning to celebrate with her friends in November.
