June Little Things

I can't believe we finished up yet another month in quarantine!  We definitely ventured out more this month, even going on vacation, but lots of things are still shut down.  We're still working from home too.  Here are all the little things that we did this month.

We have a creek that runs through our neighborhood and our kids love to go down and explore and play in the creek.

Skipping rocks

We bought a blow up pool back in April (before they all sold out) and set it up at the bottom of the slide for the kids.  They spent several hours out there sliding into it.

Emily and Gracie did a month long strength and conditioning camp.  It was run by a girl in our neighborhood and I think the girls enjoyed it.  But it was tough.  An hour and 15 min. 4 mornings a week for 3 weeks.

Evan got rollerblades for his birthday from Mimi and Papa and he tried them out one afternoon.

Evan went to a week long golf camp.

We went swimming over at Kevin and Julie's one weekend.   The kids always have a good time with their cousins!

Emily had soccer tryouts this month and boy were they stressful.  This was the first time being on this side.  But she made her team again.   She was excited that her friend, Haleigh, joined her team.  They haven't played on the same team in a few years.  

Her team competed in a tournament at the end of the month,  They went undefeated for 4 games and then when it was time for the final game, it started raining and got rained out.  It was so disappointing.  They ended up going off the number of goals scored against each team and that put them in second place.  Considering they are undefeated against the team that got first place, it was definitely a bummer.
