March was a jam packed month for us. After a few rainy days, our days got taken over with sports and after school activities. The kids also had off for spring break and we kept them busy all week. Here are the little things we did this month. . .
The month started off with back to back weekends of sleepover birthday parties for Emily. First up was Lyla's and next was Aubrey's. I love that this girl has so many different circles of friends!
Evan got some good quality mom and dad time in while Em was living it up with her friends.
I was pretty impressed with Em's clay creation she made at home one afternoon.
The kids cleared out the acorns that had started to sprout underground.
Emily celebrated the end of girl scout cookie season with an ice cream party.
We took advantage of a nice weekend and took the kids to go fishing at the park. They came back when Evan's front tooth suddenly came out. He was so excited! We ended the day with chalk!
Emily earned this month's character award at school. It was for having a growth mindset.
The school carnival was one Friday night. We were only able to stay an hour, but the kids enjoyed it. The middle school cheerleaders were there and Emily enjoyed getting to stunt with them.
Soccer started back up. Emily's team won their first game and Emily got 1 goal. They lost their next 2 games, but it wasn't for Em's lack of effort. She's up to 3 goals now for the season!
We had Kevin, Julie and Natalie over for dinner one night. Lauren was at a friend's house. The kids got all snuggled in and watched a movie while the adults chatted downstairs.
I couldn't resist taking a picture of my favorite freckle face little boy.
This girl cracks me up. She sleeps with so many stuffed animals in her bed, you can barely find her. She almost always sleeps on top of the comforter too because it's too hard to get all those animals under the covers.
We went out to dinner with our neighbor friends one Friday night. Shawn found these pics on his phone the next day.
And somehow that night we ended up with 2 extra kids staying over. Shawn treated them to donuts the next morning.
And that afternoon we all met up again between soccer games to have some lunch. Lots of crazy kiddos!
