April Little Things

When I look back at April, the first thing that comes to mind is rain.  We had soo much rain.  It seems like every weekend sports got cancelled due to the rain.  When it wasn't raining this is what we were up to:

Emily went on her first field trip for the year.  They went to safety town.  She's been several times before, but always enjoys it.  I wasn't able to attend, but luckily another mom sent me lots of pictures.

Shawn spent a good portion of 2 weeks in FL for work.  While the rest of us suffered through ALL the rain!

When it wasn't raining outside, we took advantage!

I've been busy trying to redecorate our patio.  I was over the red that we've had for so long.  Shawn hung lights up on our pergola last month and this month I bought new cushions, pillows and a rug.  I still need to get the accent tables, but I want the same one that we have in our bathroom (shown in the pic). We also want to add a TV outside and maybe a couple more chairs.

Emily's artwork was selected for the art show for the second year in a row.  We're so proud of her.  She's super artistic and loves art, so it's nice when her work is celebrated.

We hung out with friends this month too.
