Merry Christmas

The kids were up super early on Christmas morning!  Emily climbed in our bed around 5 am and Evan came in around 6 am.  After listening to them toss and turn until around 6:45, we decided it was time to just go down and see what Santa had brought.

Santa brought Emily an ice cream truck for her American Girl doll as well as a new camera and rainbow loom.  Evan got some zoom builders, a remote control monster truck and legos.  I think he was a bit disappointed there was no money machine from Santa.  After they checked out their Santa gifts, they opened up all their gifts from Shawn and I.  Evan got several new books, the creative set for Osmo and slippers.  Emily got new books, a jewelry holder, fashion design set and a new movie.  Stockings came next before it was time for breakfast.

Mid morning we headed over to my parents house to open presents from Mimi and Papa.  The kids were super spoiled.  Emily got a horse stable, horse, scooter and clothes for her AG doll as well as lots of other things.  Evan got an Osmo, fort building kit, snap circuits, legos and lots more.  We ate lunch over at Mimi's house before heading back home for a quick nap.

When we woke up it was time to head to Patti's house for dinner.  I didn't take any pics there.  The kids were lucky to get even more gifts there!  Now we just need to find room for all their new toys!

We got home around 9:15 on Christmas night and we were all wiped!  I know the kids were sad Christmas was over, but like every year, I was glad we had a whole year before we had to do it all again.
