Emily's 8th Birthday Party - Sleepover!

Since Emily wanted to redo her room for her birthday, she agreed to a smaller birthday party with friends.  We told her she could invite 3 friends over for a sleepover.  It ended up getting pushed back a few times, but this past Friday night, she finally got her sleepover party.  She invited her friends, Alexis, Grace and Aubrey.  The girls seemed to have a great time.  I had a few activities for them when they came over. . .photo booth props, nail polish spin the bottle and decorate/paint the first letter of their name.  They wrapped up the night watching a movie before going to bed.  I didn't have anything planned in the morning because I thought they would all sleep in.  Boy, was I wrong!  The girls were up at 5:45am!  Luckily they all had fun just playing with Em's toys before their moms came to get them at 10:30.  Overall, I'd say Em's first sleepover birthday party was a success, but I'm glad we don't have to do that again anytime soon.  Ha.
