The Doodlebugs . . Giving Soccer Another Go

After much debate, Emily decided to try another go at soccer.  This time we signed her up for a neighborhood team.  She's on a team of 7 girls and 5 of the 7 girls go to Isbell.  Her team name is the Doodlebugs.  She loves soccer practice each week.  The games, however, have been a little rough.  She missed 1 game to having strep and then 1 game her asthma was acting up, so she couldn't play much.  But she did well during the 2 games she has played in.  She's definitely one of the fastest girls on the team, but she needs to work on her dribbling skills.  Considering she hasn't played in 2 years, I think she's doing great and I know after a few more games under her belt, she'll be doing awesome.  It's been fun watching her play soccer again.   I'm not sure how long she'll want to play soccer (as she's put dance on hold to play), but I'm enjoying it while she does.

She sure has grown a lot since the last time she played!
