Usually Shawn gets home before me, but last Wednesday, I beat him home and got the mail. There was a package waiting for him. I didn't even know he ordered anything. Well when he got home, he acted like he didn't know what it was and when he opened it, it was a Cowboys cheerleading outfit for Emily. He wanted to surprise us both with it. I have to admit it was pretty cute! So this was Emily's outfit on Sunday as the Cowboys kicked off their first game of the season. Unfortunately for Emily, the game was past her bedtime.
I'm a day late in posting this and apparently Emily's team spirit wasn't enough to pull through a win for the Cowboys. But she still did look awfully cute in her cheerleading outfit.
Oh and side note, my brother passed down a Giants cheerleading outfit from my niece. I had told Emily she could wear the Giants outfit during that game and then she could change into the Cowboys outfit later. Well, Shawn would have none of that. This is how Emily reacted when he told her she wasn't allowed to wear the Giants outfit.
Don't worry, I told Emily we'll just save that outfit for when the Giants play the Cowboys and Daddy's at the game.
