She just amazes me

Apparently Emily is learning a whole lot of new tricks from the older kids at school!  Tonight as Shawn and I were eating dinner, we looked over at Emily and she was pulling herself up on her little piano.  She made it all the way up to her feet.  I couldn't believe this!  I hadn't seen her do this ever before or even attempt to pull up.  I was so excited and nervous for her at the same time.  I just couldn't believe she was doing it.  She only did it once (so I wasn't quick enough to grab the camera), but I think that's because I changed the position of the piano on her.  I was so afraid it was going to fall down on top of her. 

After a little while of playing, Emily started getting fussy, so we brought her over to the table.  Shawn was holding her on his lap and we were giving her puffs (oh, she now LOVES puffs and they are pretty tasty too, I must admit)  After she picked one up and put it in her mouth, I started clapping for her.  Next thing I know, she's copying me and bringing her hands together too.  Where did she learn this stuff???

Finally, her last trick. . .she can now drink out of a sippy cup.  She totally knows what to do.  Right now we're just filling it with water, but when you hand it to her she knows how to hold it and put it right in her mouth to drink it.  Isn't she amazing!?  I sure think she's pretty amazing!  :)
